Wonder Woman Being Brought to Television

As some of you may have heard the idea of a Wonder Woman television series was bandied about a couple of weeks ago, but all the networks passed on it. That is until NBC decided to pick up the series after all. Deadline broke the news yesterday, and their article can be read here. If you don't feel like reading the entire article, here is the gist of it. The idea for the show, written by David E. Kelly, is a reinvention of the DC character. Apparently Wonder Woman is going to be a vigilante at night, and an executive during the day. There is no word on an Amazonian background or super powers as of yet. I don't know how I feel about that, Wonder Woman isn't a favourite character of mine but taking away her entire backstory? and no super powers? I don't know, but I probably will give the show a chance.
